HimosWorld General Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions will be applied in our transactions in order to ensure best possible flow of service. Please note that no preliminary reservations are made when prices are quoted, so in order to make sure that the services requested will be available, please make your final reservation as early as possible.

Accommodation


1. Reservation and Payment

The booking is binding as from the time of booking whether made in writing or over the phone. A €19 service fee will be added to the rent. Half of the total cost of accommodation shall be paid within 7 days from reservation and the rest 50 % has to be paid 14 days prior to the beginning of the booking.
The villa should only be used by the number of occupants per villa as stated on the price list.
When collecting the keys, the client should provide some identification and receipt of the due payment to HimosMaailma.

 

2. Cancellation

All cancellations must always be made to HimosMaailma. The cancellation fee minimum is €80. If the cancellation has been made 14 days prior to booking, the client will be refunded the paid sum minus the €80 cancellation and service fee. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before the beginning of the rental period no refund shall be made unless the cottage is rented to another client for the same rental period. In cases of cancellations less than 14 days prior to booking the rent will be charged in full unless another client is found for the aforesaid rental period. In case of a sudden illness or accident, we recommend Travel Insurance. The charge for the changes in rental agreement will be 20 euros.

3. The right of HimosMaailma to cancel a reservation

HimosMaailma may cancel a booking in the event of force majeure or if - for one reason or the other - the owner of the cottage or villa has a need to cancel the booking. Cancellations made on behalf of the owners shall be notified to the client immediately and the client refunded with the sum paid by the client to HimosMaailma. In case the client misses to abide by the payment terms, HimosMaailma is entitled to cancel the booking.

4. Handover of keys and cleaning

With the final invoice, HimosMaailma will inform the client about collecting the key and give driving instructions. If the client loses the key, locks will have to be changed and the total cost is charged from client. Bedlinen and towels are available for 12 € per set.
The client is responsible for cleaning the cottage/villa while staying there, including the terraces and yards. The clients are expected to empty the rubbish bins, wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher and to hoover the floors. Overall cleaning (stains, dirt), replacing the furniture, making the beds and airing the bedding are also expected. The client(s) should leave the used linen/towels in the laundry basket and all other rented equipment on the kitchen table. HimosMaailma can take care of the final cleaning, if required. Advance booking for the final cleaning costs €60/villa and without advance booking HimosMaailma is entitled to charge €90 for the cleaning. Even after the final cleaning it's expected that the villa is left in a condition as is after normal wear and contents, furniture and the villa itself as it was on arrival - clean and proper - including removal of any secretion (such as vomit etc.). If the cleanliness of villa and premises doesn't meet with normal standards (i.e. the stated requirements above) hence HimosMaailma will be responsible to take charge of cleaning the villa and the surroundings before the arrival of the next client and the charge for such extra hours will be €50/hour.

5. Compensation for damages caused by the client

The client is responsible of the villa and its contents during the stay. The client will be liable for any damage caused to the villa or its contents and required to recompense any such damage.

6. Complaints

Any complaints about the reservation or the condition of the holiday property should be expressed in writing immediately upon detection directly to HimosMaailma.

7. Smoking and pets

Smoking is forbidden indoors in the cottages and villas. If any unauthorized smoking will be detected, the client will be charged a fee of €150 for ventilation.

No pets are allowed on the premises, unless otherwise agreed. HimosMaailma will always charge final cleaning fee if pets are staying at one of the premises. HimosMaailma cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or similar problems caused to clients by unauthorized smoking or animal dander.

 

Programme Services


1. Reservation and Payment

The booking is binding as from the time of reserving whether made orally or in writing. An oral reservation will always be confirmed in writing. When confirming, please check that the following is correct:

- the programme and possibly other services required
- time and date
- number of participants
- person in charge with contact details

Details about your choice of menu and drinks as well as special dietary restrictions must be notified to HimosMaailma at least one week before the event. In case the deduction of participants is informed at least seven days before the start of the reservation, it can also be credited in the final invoice

HimosMaailma always has the right to change the course, duration or route of the programme, in case that is necessary because of possible danger or e.g. bad weather conditions.
HimosMaailma is to be notified in advance about the possible risks caused by the health of the participants. If the health of any of the participants severely changes during the programme, or a participant by his/her behaviour puts himself/herself or others in danger, has the responsible supervisor of the programme the right to immediately interrupt the event.

2. Cancellation

If the reservation is cancelled 14 days before the beginning of the booking, the client is entitled to full refund except for the reservation fee of 60 euros. Half of the value of the reservation is charged in case the reservation is cancelled less than two weeks before, unless the cancelled capacity is resold to another client.

For cancellation after the final cancellation date, no payments made are refunded (100 % of cost will be invoiced).

3. Special Requests

By telling us the special requests of your group and other details, you will help us serve you the best possible way. When reserving equipment, please let us know sizes of gear and shoes in advance.

4. Changes

Changes on reservations and conditions are possible only by common agreement between the client and HimosMaailma.

 

Meetings, venues and restaurant services


1. Reservation and Payment

Meeting Package price always means the price of the whole package including the services ordered. The prices are not separated even if someone has not taken part in all of the activities, the total sum agreed is invoiced as it is. 
The booking is binding as from the time of reserving whether made orally or in writing. An oral reservation will always be confirmed in writing. At least one week before we ask you to kindly supply us with a detailed agreement clearly stating the following:
- number of participants
- schedule, times for meals and coffee
- special dietary requests
- necessary meeting equipment
- person in charge of the meeting with contact details

The confirmed number of participants will be invoiced or, if the number realized is bigger, according to the final count.  No reductions possible when there is 7 days or less to the booking.
Rent for the premises includes the agreed facilities with the form of furniture as well as general clean-up. Any other kind of furniture, extra decorations, additional structures and further cleaning will be charged separately.

Rent for the premises includes the equipment and service agreed on the order confirmation.

In case no written agreement on terms of payment has been made in advance, the client will pay either in cash or with bank/credit card upon arrival. Invoicing afterwards must always be agreed upfront and there will be a surcharge for it.

2. Cancellation

In case the client cancels the meeting package reservation, there will be a charge of cancellation fees as follows:
If cancelled
- at least 14 days before; full refund
- at least 8 days before;  50% of the cost
- less than 7 days before or no-show;  100% charge
An exception to this is applied to premises and special occasions (such as cruises) and separate terms and conditions apply.

3. Restaurant Services

The booking is binding as from the time of reserving whether made orally or in writing. An oral reservation will always be confirmed in writing.

All food and beverage orders for the occasion must be made no later than 14 days before the time of booking. Otherwise we cannot guarantee availability.

The order for restaurant services is always binding with the advised number of persons that can be changed with +/-10 % as long as there still is at least 7 days to the booking. The minimum quantity to be charged will be the number of persons confirmed according to these conditions.

In case no written agreement on terms of payment has been made in advance, the client will pay either in cash or with bank/credit card upon arrival. Invoicing afterwards must always be agreed upfront and there will be a surcharge for it.


Cancellation

In case the client cancels the reservation for restaurant services, there will be a cancellation fee according to the prices confirmed as follows:
- at least 14 days before; full refund
- at least 8 days before;  50% of the cost
- less than 7 days before or no-show;  100% charge

4. Other Conditions

Special Arrangements

If HimosMaailma is carrying out some special arrangements such as furniture, structures or programme, the client commits to pay all due cost. The client has no right to alter the premises rented, nor to erect or install temporary constructions, signposts, etc., without separately agreeing this with HimosMaailma.

Responsibility of the client

The client is responsible for protecting the rented premises and furniture against any damage. The client is responsible for any possible damage caused by his equipment, personnel, performers or audience on the premises, property or its contents. The client commits to following the advice and rules given by HimosMaailma personnel as for the use of the premises, furniture and equipment.

The client must nominate the person in charge of the occasion.

Changes

Changes on reservations and conditions are possible only by common agreement between the client and HimosMaailma.
